10 Year Old Toms River Boy to Sell His Own Autographed Giants Football to Benefit Sandy Relief
The way Monmouth and Ocean counties have come together as we Restore The Shore is nothing short of amazing and humbling. Here's more proof that everyone young and old are stepping up to help others recover from Sandy's aftermath. Here's one touching story.
I spoke to 10 year old Raymond today. Like many, he feels the need to help. Raymond wants to raise money for his neighbors in need and for Townsquare Media and 94.3 The Point's Sandy relief effort, "Restore The Shore." He's doing this by selling his most prized possession, a football autographed by Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz of the New York Giants.
Listen to my call with Raymond from today:
All money raised will go directly to people affected by Hurricane Sandy. 94.3 The Point's Restore The Shore relief effort is working with Hometown Heroes, who are on the ground assisting people in Monmouth and Ocean counties hit hardest.
E-mail me to make an offer or to get more information. We'll keep you up to date on the progress of funds raised. Think back to your most prized possession and put yourself in Raymond's shoes.
