Power is being restored to Berkeley and Lacey Townships on the coldest morning of the season so far where 10,000 were in the dark on Sunday morning.

Customers in Lacey Township and Berkeley Township are affected the most according to the JCP+L outage map. which shows just under 4,000 cutsomers still without power mostly in Lacey as of 10:15 a.m. A JCP&L spokesperson, however, says all of Lacey has been restored and customers still out in Bayville will be back by 11 a.m.

JCP&L says that a trip at the Lacey sub-station is to blame for this morning's outage.

Oyster Creek spokesperson Sue D’Ambrosio.tells Townsquare Media that there is no fire at the plant. The plant in Lacey Township says its reactor resumed full-power operations at 12:18 a.m. Saturday. It had been taken offline Nov. 17, so crews could work on two of the five redundant recirculation pumps that are used to move water through the reactor during power operations. They also completed other routine maintenance projects at the facility.
