My son has been cooking for a while now, and tackled his first Thanksgiving feast!

Okay so maybe I stuck around the kitchen to make sure there were no fires...and, when it was time for carving, his uncle taught him what to do and with which knives,

but, for the most part, my son not only cooked the turkey, stuffing, and several of the side dishes...

...but he spent the whole morning baking some of the desserts before he even put the turkey in the oven!

From shopping for the ingredients to taking over the kitchen, I am thankful to have a son that likes to express his creativity not only through music, but through cooking and baking. He doesn't want to do this as a career, but simply so that he can enjoy his family coming over and sitting around the table for a nice feast.
