Whether you're rooting for the Patriots, the Seahawks, or the commercials (like me!) our Big Game cocktails will keep you happy!

This week's recipes are courtesy of my bud Johnny Longlegs, bartender to the stars -- and bar manager at the one and only Chef Mike's ABG in South Seaside Park!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. blueberry vodka
  • 1 oz. white cranberry juice
  • 1 oz. blue curaçao
  • .5 oz grenadine
  • maraschino cherries, to garnish

Shake vodka, blue curaçao, and cranberry juice with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and slowly add grenadine so it sinks to the bottom of the drink. Garnish with cherries.

Use plain vodka instead of blueberry, or another fruit-flavored variety
Replace the maraschino cherries with fresh blueberries or raspberries.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. coconut rum
  • 1 oz. melon liqueur, like Midori
  • 1.5 oz. lychee purée (available in the ethnic food section of your grocery store)
  • shredded coconut, to garnish
  • honey, to garnish
  • blue food coloring, to garnish

Combine shredded coconut and blue food coloring until desired Seahawk-y color is achieved. Rim a cocktail glass with honey and dip into the colored coconut. Shake remaining ingredients over ice and strain into garnished glass. Beast moooode!

As always, feel free to play around with the recipes so they suit your tastes. Cheers to a fun Super Sunday!
