13 Year-Old Boy Goes to Jail for Kissing Girl on a Dare

"I dare you to kiss her!" Every middle-school male has been in that situation, but most didn't head to juvie as a result.

But in Maryland last week, a 13-year-old was arrested on a second-degree assault charge after kissing a 14-year-old classmate on a dare. CBS Baltimore reports the girl told police that the boy "grabbed her shirt near her stomach and open-mouth kissed her with his tongue," and that his advances were unwanted. Nevertheless, locals interviewed by Fox Baltimore said they found criminal charges to be an extreme response to such an incident.
