I hate Pumpkin Creep as much as anyone, but there are plenty of people who just can't wait for fall and with it, Halloween fun!

There are already plenty of great Halloween events planned for the Jersey Shore area, some starting as early as mid-September!

Monmouth County

Asbury Park - Zombie Walk, annual parade of zombies along the boardwalk and Cookman Ave. October 1, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Lincroft – Brookdale Haunted Theater, an indoor, interactive, walk-through haunt at Brookdale Community College’s Performing Arts Center. Open from 7:30-10:30 p.m. October 14-16, 21-23, and 28-30. (Kid-friendly versions will take place Oct 22-23 and 29-30 from 2-4 p.m.)

Marlboro – Haunted Casola at C. Casola Farms, with five different haunts all in one place! The Haunted Hayride of Terror, 3D Haunted Barn (walkthrough), The Haunted Wooded Trail (walkthrough), The Living Maze, and Marlboro Zombie Breakout (Kid-friendly zombie paintball!) Oceanport - The Glow: a Jack-o-Lantern Experience, a quarter-mile walk-through at Monmouth Park Racetrack where you can see more than 5,000 intricately carved, Jersey Shore-themed jack-o-lanterns, from small carvings to ornate structures. Open Fridays and Saturdays 6:30-10:30 p.m., Sundays 6:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 7-30. Tickets and info HERE.

WallCamp Evans Base of Terror, a 1/2 mile haunted walk through on the 100-year old Army base! Open 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October. (Opens September 30th)

Wall - Allaire State Park Haunted Village and Hayride, a walk-through and hayride on the grounds of Allaire State Park. Open 6-9:30 p.m. October 14-15, 21-22. (Young and/or easily scared children are encouraged to go earlier for the twilight hayride.)

Wall - Historic Allaire Village 19th Century All Hallow's Eve, a family-friendly Halloween event with costume contest, tractor rides, pumpkin-picking and decorating, crafts, storytelling, and more. October 30th, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Ocean County

BayvilleThe Dark Carnival at Blackbeard’s Grave (Cave), a circus-themed, interactive haunted maze and walkthrough. Open 7-11 p.m. Fridays-Sundays from Sept. 30 - October 30.

Brick – Scary Rotten Farms, a dual attraction haunted house and walk through haunt. Tickets available Fridays and Saturdays from 7-10 p.m. from September 23-October 29, Sundays from 7-9 p.m. from October 9-30. (Also open Thursdays Oct 20 and 27.)

JacksonDracula’s Domain, three attractions including a haunted hayride, trail walk through, and maze at 539 Monmouth Rd (Rt. 537), just east of Six Flags Great Adventure. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 7-11 p.m., Sundays from 7-10 p.m. from September 23-October 30.

JacksonNightmare at Gravity Hill at Cicconi Farms, a 35-minute haunted walk-through. Open Fridays and Saturdays from dusk-11 p.m. from September 16 – October 30. Also open Sundays in October from dusk – 9 p.m. (October 9, dusk-10 p.m.)

Jackson - Six Flags Great Adventure FrightFest, a family-friendly by day, fright by night combination of shows, walk-throughs, hayrides, and more. Open weekends Sept 16-Oct. 31. Hours vary, see full schedule HERE.
