March madness was in full effect in Monmouth County as we saw towns and schools come together to get their school's mascot the ultimate spotlight.

Our finals pit the Freehold Colonials against the Howell Rebels.

While the Howell Rebels held their own throughout the competition, the Freehold Boro Colonials were dominant throughout.

THE HOWELL REBELS!

Howell organized on social media and was able to take a whopping 88% of the vote.

Congratulations to The Rebels and thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Monmouth Mascot Madness.

But, we're not finished.

Our sister station 92.7 WOBM just ended their search for Ocean County's best mascot. The Toms River North Mariners captured the win in Ocean County.

Keeping in tradition, Monmouth County, and Ocean County's mascots are going to battle it out for ultimate supremacy.
