UPDATE: The 3,500-pound great white, known as Mary Lee was recorded Friday morning just north of Brigantine. That's according to the nonprofit OCEARCH.

Jaws was recorded, heading north, about 10 miles off the Wildwood coast on Thursday morning.

By the way, this isn't any old shark. She even has a name! Mary Lee has traveled almost 20,000 miles in the Atlantic Ocean since 2012, according to OCEARCH. The group has even given her a Twitter account @MaryLeeShark.

Since Thursday morning, there have been at least seven recordings off the coast of South Jersey.
