Friends come and go. And there are times when some of them can annoy the crap out of you. Here are 6 types who may seem familiar to you.

You have your closest friends...and then there are the other friends and acquaintances that you don't see all that often. And when you do see them, you remember why you aren't spending more time with them. Do you know someone who fits one of these 6 types?

6. The Actress. She is a wonderful person with a great smile and beautiful personality.  And when you run into her, she gives you a giant hug and says she can't believe how long it's been and that she misses you and that the two of you should really get together! You make plans to check your calendars and do lunch. And then you never hear from her again...until the next time you run into her and she gives you the same speech. At which point you realize that she has all the right words but she is totally faking it! She is an amazing actress in public, but really will never take the time to actually do lunch...or anything...with you.

5. The 'Poor Me' person. This friend is genuinely upset because her finances are challenging. She confides in you that she is struggling to make rent or pay off a giant credit card debt. But the next time you see her, she is showing you photos from her big vacation, while sporting a lovely manicure and new outfit. You want to feel sorry for her, but her actions are completely different from her words.

4. The 'Me' person. This friend genuinely wants to know how you are doing...but she can't manage to take the conversation off of herself for five minutes so that you can tell her how you're doing. She means well, but she is so focused on her own life that the conversation invariably revolves around her. As you get ready to say goodbye, she'll utter something like "Next time we will definitely talk about YOU!" That day never comes.

3. The 'Sapper'. This friend is so dramatic, loud, or frenzied that, no matter how energetic you think you are, she makes you feel like a wallflower. You can't compete with her level of excitement, so you end up feeling like you are limp and lifeless, and you kind of give up on even trying to get a word in edgewise.

2. The 'Talker'. This person has so very much to say that she cannot contain herself long enough for you to finish a sentence. You want to take part in the conversation and perhaps complete a sentence, but your friend cannot stop talking long enough for you to get a thought across. By the time she takes a breath, you have totally forgotten what you were going to say or what point you were going to attempt to make.

1. 'The Topper'. I sometimes wonder how a person like this keeps any friends. This is the girl you see occasionally when you happen to run into her at a party or at the store. You  are glad to see her...for about five minutes. That's when you realize that no matter what you say, she's done it, been there, seen it, or knows it better than you. Even if you are expressing an opinion, she's got a better one. No matter what subject you touch, she knows it better and will be sure to tell you about it.

Do you have any people in your life like this? Can you think of another annoying 'type' that isn't listed here? Do you think (like me) that, just maybe, you ARE one of these people? LOL! Lou would most certainly compare me to #2, at the very least!!! Maybe we've all had moments where we were the annoying friend!
