His owners say he got too big for their family. Now this loveable animal is without a home.

Meet Biggie, our Point Pet of the Week from the Monmouth County SPCA. He needs a new forever home.

He is a very sweet boy who still has a lot of puppy in him. He loves to play and stay busy and active. He looks like a Terrier mix and has a lot of love to give.

Biggie came to say with the wonderful volunteers at the MCSPCA when his family felt overwhelmed with the space he needed, which rivaled the space required by the small children in the house. The dog is actually quite lean...just on the larger side.

Biggie would love to climb onto your lap or at least be close by your side. He just adores people. One of his favorite things to do is to lean into you during a good petting session. He needs a family who doesn't mind his large size.

Biggie knows basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. He likes to catch balls in the air, too! He loves to go to the park, to roll around in the grass, and to lie sweetly by his human's side.

Please contact the MCSPCA for more info at 732-542-5962 or send questions to adoptions@monmouthcountyspca.org.

You can also find dogs up for adoption this Saturday, July 25th, when the MCSPCA brings some adorable adoptables to Paws & Anchor (unique pet care by the sea) at 614 Main Street in Bradley Beach from 10 am - 3 pm.
