9-Year-Old Boy with Terminal Cancer Wishes for Christmas Cards

Jacob Thompson, a 9-year-old from Saco, ME has been given a month to live. Christmas needs to come to him early, literally. Let's show this brave boy some love from the Shore!

While Jacob has been battling stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma since he was 5, cancer has spread to his hip and head. Doctors at Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital have given Jacob one month to live. He may not make it to Christmas.

Full disclosure, I'm choked up while writing this. It's heartbreaking. But, I know the Jersey Shore can come together and we can help Jacob and his family.

Their request is pretty simple. Jacob wants Christmas cards. This would be a great way to get your office, school or church together. I'm confident that every form of holiday cheer that Jacob gets will be well received.

Heads up, Jacob loves penguins.
