"Giving Tuesday" is this Tuesday, November 27, and 94.3 The Point has once again teamed up with the Count Basie Center for the Arts, Citi and Ashley Homestores of Central Jersey and Staten Island for it's 3rd annual "Day of Giving Radiothon."

Lou & Liz, Nicole Murray, and Matt Ryan will broadcast live from 5:30am-7pm at the Basie to raise funds to underwrite free tickets to Basie Center holiday shows for Monmouth and Ocean County first responders and their families.

The first $20,000 raised from the daylong radiothon will be matched by Citi.

In addition, $1 from every ticket sold on Giving Tuesday will be donated to the 200 Clubs of Monmouth and Ocean counties, two 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to the families of our public safety and rescue personnel who have been killed in the line of duty. This includes, but is not limited to Monmouth and Ocean County police officers, firefighters and EMT technicians.

Stop by The Basie this Tuesday to drop off your donation, use The Point's secure online link, or via theBASIE.org.

Get in the holiday spirit with a performance by Count Basie Theatre Performing Arts Academy’s Rockit! Live and Jazz Arts academies, holiday compositions from members of the Basie’s Monmouth Conservatory of Music, and a surprise celebrity guest!
