94.3 The Point’s Giving Tuesday Radiothon

Join Lou, Liz, Nicole, and Matt this Tuesday at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank for the 94.3 The Point's Giving Tuesday Radiothon. The Point will be joining forces with the Count Basie Theatre and The Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation to raise funds for VetTix – Veterans Tickets Foundation - “Giving Something To Those Who Gave”. 

VetTix provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. This Giving Tuesday, 94.3 The Point and the Basie will raise funds to offer veterans and their families free concert experiences at the Basie. Plus, $1 from every ticket sold that day will be donated to NJ RUN FOR THE FALLEN, a 501 (c)(3) organization of runners and support crew whose mission is to run one mile for every New Jersey service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn.

But wait, there's more: The first $25,000 raised will be matched by Toms River's Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation.

The broadcast will feature live performances from students of the Count Basie Theatre Performing Arts Academy's Rockit! Live and Jazz Arts academies, singer/songwriter Melissa Etheridge, and others.
