A Hidden Gem at the Jersey Shore

Apparently this place is pretty popular, but I'd never heard of it before.

I went last week, and it's now one of my favorite places at the Jersey Shore.

So what is it?Nagle's in Ocean Grove.

It used to be a pharmacy/apothecary and the decor has been preserved to reflect that.

This place is SO COOL. It's like a legit old soda shop, complete with real egg creams (did you hear that, Mama C??), homemade flavored sodas, ice cream floats, and more.

We went for brunch, which was really good...but this place is apparently pretty famous for their ice cream.

I got a Java Chip Milkshake (coffee ice cream with chocolate chips) and ohhh man was it good.

I really just loved the feel of the place from the moment I walked in. It's lined with old pharmacy bottles and artifacts...cool stuff.

If you haven't been there, you have to go. It's on 43 Main Ave. in Ocean Grove.
