A Local Film Festival For the Young and Young at Heart

Check out what's happening at the Algonquin Arts Theatre this weekend, with movie makers from Monmouth and Ocean Counties!

February 8th through 10th it's the second annual Kidz Filmz, presented by Algonquin Arts Theatre in a joint venture with the Garden State Film Festival.

Films from Wall Township to as far away as Greece will be screened. Ten of the films were either produced in Monmmouth and Ocean Counties or produced by a resident of Monmouth/Ocean!

The highly anticipated feature documentary "Magic Camp", which chronicles a camp where kids briefly escape the pressures of growing up, will be shown on Sunday at 1 p.m. BEFORE its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival!

An all access pass is only $20, single screenings are $7 adults/$5 children. Tickets may be purchased by phone (732) 528-9211, online, or at the box office in Manasquan.
