Driving into work today, I saw something on the Parkway that made me wince, chuckle, and insanely curious all at the same time...and I can't possibly be the only one!

Southbound, right around exit 89, I suddenly saw a giant splotch of what must be white paint in the right lane.

My first thought was, "Oooooh, that sucks..." and as I kept driving, I couldn't help but be entertained by the trail of paint that had clearly still been dripping from whatever vehicle spilled it...it was bizarrely mesmerizing, and seriously goes on for miles. You can even see where the vehicle moved over and the paint travels into the center lane.

You can see little white drips even past the Toms River tolls! That's a pretty decent stretch.

Unfortunately, I couldn't snap any pictures since I was driving and all...but trust me, it's there!

The thing is, I'm DYING to know how it happened!! I don't remember seeing it yesterday, so it had to have happened between yesterday and this morning...and what about the people behind the paint dripper?? Are their cars now covered in white paint??

It's possible it was a construction vehicle and it all happened during the overnight hours, but I'm just so curious about it! (I don't really know why, I know spills happen often enough, but I don't think I've ever seen the trail go on THAT far.)

The quest for answers is on!
