A Special Cat with Three Legs

Here's our first Point Pet of the Week for 2015! Let's make a pact to get them all adopted this year!

Meet Felix, from the Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA). Check out the video!

Felix is two years old and adorable. He's described as a shy-at-first but very-sweet-once-he-knows-you kind of kitty. It does take him a little time to feel comfortable with new friends, but once he does, he is super affectionate.

Felix loves to have his head, neck and chin scratched...it makes him purr and purr and purr!

Sadly, Felix had a freak accident and broke his leg. The break was severe enough that the doctors said it was best to remove the leg.

But the good news is that Felix now feels great and has adjusted really well to having 3 legs!

He loves other kitties and would be happiest in a multi-cat home. He is too shy for young children and would do best in a quiet, adult home.

He also loves to play and really likes catnip!
