Bummer news, Glamberts. Adam Lambert promises there will be a tour to support his sophomore album, ‘Trespassing‘ — but it won’t happen for a while.

The ‘Never Close Our Eyes’ singer has a lot of things keeping him busy, so it’s not too surprising that tour plans are on hold for now. He will appear in a ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Halloween special, a perfect fit for the theatrical, oft-flamboyantly dressed, coiffed and made up star. Lambert has also been performing with his idols, Queen, and has tossed around some talk of a possible ‘American Idol‘ judging position. It’s remarkable that he has time to breathe, let alone perform live!

Lambert does have a few tour dates listed on his official site for this month (August 2012), but they’re both in Japan! He addressed his beloved Glamberts in a tweet, promising a tour at some point — but not anytime soon.

While tours are amazing promotion for any artist, Lambert may not find one necessary just yet, because ‘Trespassing’ was both critically acclaimed and gobbled up by his Glamberts. It sold 77,000 copies within its first week and gave Lambert the record for the first openly gay male artist to debut at No. 1.

That’s all fine and  good, but based on the live performances we’ve seen the powerhouse give for his ‘Trespassing’ tracks, we think a tour is in order — and likely in high demand!
