The Point Pets of the Week are outside cats that have been fixed and have their shots and are available to be adopted as your Backyard Buddies!

We know there are many of you who simply cannot bring a pet (or a second or third) into your home. Here's a great way to have the best of both worlds and help a cat or two:

If you have a big back yard, if you and your co-workers like to feed the outside cats where you work, or if you have a horse stable or live on farmland that has room to run around and could use a cat or two to take care of the rodents, the Monmouth County SPCA has cats up for adoption that just need fresh food and water outside. Some of these cats even like to live near a warehouse, on a wharf, or in a junkyard.

These special cats were raised outdoors and are perfectly happy to stay out in nature, but still need some love and caring people to look after their well-being.
