Help cheer on the local high schoolers raising money for pediatric cancer!

Squan-A-Thon is a 12 hour dance-a-thon that raises money for kids with cancer. It starts this Friday night, March 21, 2014.

Being a participant at Squan-A-Thon is a tremendous honor for the students at Manasquan High School that come from Brielle, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, Avon, and Belmar and they consider themselves very lucky to have this experience.

The students know that they are helping to save a life, bring a smile, and lend a helping hand to families dealing with the tragedy of cancer or other serious illnesses within our community.

These students truly make a sacrifice of their time and energy to help one another and that is something not easily done. They want to make giving back a positive experience. The students love every minute of their event and never forget why they are doing it.

Their slogan for this year is "Fight Like A Warrior; Celebrate Like A Survivor." This year they will exemplify the Manasquan Warrior Spirit by fighting to stay up all night to put an end to cancer. Throughout the challenging night they will honor those who fight this ongoing battle of cancer and celebrate the many that have surpassed this obstacle.

The dancing begins at 8 pm tonight and ends at 8 am tomorrow morning in the gym at Manasquan High School. Please stop by during the 12 hours and make a donation! 167 Broad Street, Manasquan.
