‘American Idol’ Winner Kris Allen To Appear at The Freehold Raceway Mall

Next weekend is going to be action packed at the Freehold Raceway Mall! On Saturday, Santa Claus will be opening his Headquarters at the Nordstrom/JCPenney Intersection, and the next day a very special Christmas elf will arrive to usher in the holidays!

American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen is set to play a holiday show 5 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Village between BRIO Tuscan Grille, LL Bean and The Cheesecake Factory.

In addition to his hits--which includes the 2009 single, "Live Like We're Dying"--Allen will perform selections from his new release, Somethin' About Christmas.

Allen has written several original Christmas songs destined to become holiday favorites, "Christmas Morning," "Just Like Snow," and the cute, "Mommy, Is There More Than One Santa Claus?," which includes the lyrics "he shows up most everywhere we go."

The album includes holiday favorites “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Jingle Bells” (featuring The Voice alum Caroline Glaser), "Winter Wonderland," and “Silent Night.”
