Your vote will help determine Gianna Isabella's future on Fox's "American Idol."

The 15-year-old from Jackson is hoping to grab one of the six remaining slots of the top 10  after a strong performance of "I Put A Spell On You" on Wednesday night. Contestants Dalton Rapattoni, Olivia Rox, Trent Harmon and La’Porsha Renae were all given a "fast pass" into the top 10 while the remaining

Jennifer Lopez said she showed a "sassiness" that showed the "innocence" of a 15-year-old and the beginnings of an "amazing artist and performer" with the most potential for growth.  Lopez revealed that Isabella was her first runner up to be declared among the show's four "safe" members of the top 10. Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban did not offer comment on her performance on the pre-taped show.

Michelle Amabile, who covers American Idol for Billboard, said Isabella "definitely improved" and that she had a "strong presence onstage and projected the drama needed." Amabile said that the sophomore from Jackson Memorial High School is "going to need every vote she can get" in order to make the top 10. Isabella is "competing against contestants with strong voter bases, like Mackenzie Bourg and Sonika Vaid so New Jersey has work to do if we want another homecoming episode!"

Before Wednesday night's show, Gianna had a week off from performing after making the top 14 two weeks ago after her duet with season 14 champion Nick Fradiani. She got to spend some family time with her cousin and uncle from San Diego, her mom Brenda K. Starr, plus some of the other contestants especially La'Porcha (Renae) and Jen Blousil. "They're so sweet and a positive energy. I get nervous and they know how to calm me down," said Isabella, who said it's "all about having fun" while she's in California.

She said it's been "nerve wracking" preparing for her first live performance for Thursday . night's show. "You can't only impress the judges but you also have to impress all of America" said Isabella, who fills most of her days with lots of rehearsal.

She's also been spending a lot of time returning tweets from fans and well-wishers. "I like answering back to fans because  I know how it feels to tweet someone and they don't tweet me back I kind of get upset like they don't think I exist," so she tries to at least follow people or favor their tweet so they know she has seen them.

As part of the show's final season, former Idol's are returning to the show with Kelly Clarkson scheduled to appear on Thursday night and Isabella is excited to meet the first Idol champion. "I'll probably have a heart attack and be resurrected by her presence," said Isabella.
