And the Best Beach in New Jersey is…

The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium announced the winner of their Best Beaches contest.

So who took the title?

The Wildwoods won it again. Six of the top 10 were in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Here's the top 10:

1. The Wildwoods (North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest)
2. Ocean City
3. LBI
4. Sea Isle City
5. Belmar
6. Cape May
7. Manasquan
8. Island Beach State Park
9. Sandy Hook
10. Seaside Heights

The winners are based on a combination of direct online voting and scientific analysis of environmental and other criteria.
