And the Winner of Dessert Wars 2012 is…

We'd like to all of our Dessert Wars 2012 participants, who created some amazingly decadent treats for a very appreciative crowd. We told you last night that the judges chose Devil's Food Bakery in Ocean Grove as their choice. But who did the people choose?

Congratulations to Cupcake Magician of Red Bank for taking first place! Their pancakes and bacon cupcakes were definitely one of the most talked about desserts at the event.

Second place goes to Nina's Waffles and Sweets of Red Bank and Seaside Park. Their innovative waffle creations were only four votes behind our winner.

Rounding out the top three was Mr. Green Tea Ice Cream who also won the overall cold category.

Thanks to Branches Catering of West Long Branch and all of our participants for helping us create a truly sweet night at the Jersey Shore.
