And the pet overload continues.

An additional 181 pets were transported to New Jersey after Hurricane Maria tore through Puerto Rico and left it in shambles. And now, thanks to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, these pets are on their way to finding a forever home.

Immediately upon their arrival, the animals were given medical examinations and those that were deemed clear are immediately available for adoption.

This transport was the fifth animal airlift to free up shelter space amid the tragedy in Puerto Rico.
