I was asked once again to be the public address announcer for yesterday's Lakewood Blueclaws game at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, and I once again jumped at the opportunity.

I have said time and time again that a Lakewood Blueclaws game is on of the top family fun events in Monmouth and Ocean Counties and one of the best values, too. Yesterday's game was another great example of that as the announced attendance of well over 5000 can attest to.

I got some help in the booth from the incredible production staff at the stadium. The guys behind the scenes really know how to put on a great show, I also got help from Mike Mullee, the 14 year old Middletown resident who did our sports reports live on the morning show this past Wednedsay. He did a great job announcing in the stadium as well as doing a half inning of play by play live on our sister station WOBM AM, along with play by play guy Greg Giombarrese.

The Blueclaws grabbed a win over West Virginia 3-1 to put the icing on the cake of a great night. Get to FirstEnergy Park soon, and bring the family. Everyone will have a blast. Get ticket and schedule info by visiting the Lakewood Blueclaws website.
