Annual Christmas Tree Lighting In Toms River

On Friday, December 1st starting at 5:00 PM is the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place at the Town Hall Courtyard located at 33 Washington Street in Toms River.

What better way to get you into the holiday spirit than enjoying an evening of live holiday entertainment, listening to a reading of "A Christmas Carol" from the one and only Mrs. Claus, and a food & dessert truck along with other downtown restaurants that will be open for business?

But the best part? Santa will be coming to town!

At 7:00 PM, Santa Claus will ride on in on a fire truck to light the town tree and then you can even get your photo taken with the jolly fella while enjoying some cookies and hot chocolate.

Definitely sounds like an evening I wouldn't want to miss.
