Here are the clues we gave for our latest "Name That Monmouth County Town"...

Once, a U.S. President was forced to leave his horse and carriage at the gate of this town and walk a half mile to his sister’s house because of a town rule.

This town has a great auditorium.

This town is both on the National Register of Historic Places and the New Jersey State Register of Historic Places.

The answer is Ocean Grove of course, as so many of you told us without any additional help. Nice Job! By the way, the U.S. President who walked the half mile to his sister's house was Ulysses S. Grant, in 1875, according to oceangrovehistory.org.
