After a spring that wouldn't seem to get started, the Jersey Shore is in the midst of July like weather and nobody is complaining.

Everything about the past few days have been nothing short of amazing for the summer lovers like me out there, and it allowed us to finally get started on the summer prep we seem to be so late to do this year.

The first thing Diane and I did was head to the Marina to begin the boat prep, and it was so gorgeous that we found it pretty tough to concentrate on the work with the sunshine and seagulls and all that. It felt like a mid July afternoon and it was awesome.

So how long will summer last? Well, if you're looking for temperatures to stay in the 80's, the prospects don't look too good, according to Meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

Dan says we're going to see the mid 80's today (Wednesday) and tomorrow, but that's the end of the "heat" wave, The weekend will feature temperatures in the 70's and a chance of rain both days.

So, I guess we should take full advantage of the summer temps today and tomorrow, and then we'll just see what happens. Stay up to date with our latest weather info with Dan Zarrow's weather blog.
