Are You Enjoying Our “Local” Summer? [POLL]

Right after Labor Day, true Jersey Shore summer lovers embrace "local summer", when the beaches become all ours. So, are you taking advantage?

The weather certainly has been cooperating, and even though we're dealing with a return to the humidity, at least it feels like summer. We've got a little local beach weather!

The fact of the matter is that while many along the Jersey Shore avoid the beaches during the peak of summer tourist season, it's not much easier to get to the beaches now. Sure, there's easier parking and more room at the beach, there's also school and homework plus all the other things life throws at us this time of year.

So even though this is our time at the beaches, are we really taking advantage of it? I hope so, because it won't be around for long.
