We love to broadcast from the Asbury Park Boardwalk each weekend in the summer and we love to learn a little more about this great city each week.

So we present to you another three pretty cool things you may not know about beautiful Asbury Park. Let's dig back into the history of the town for these facts:

Sewer System. Asbury Park was the first Jersey Shore town to have a municipal sewer system, and was among the first to embrace telephones.

Presidential. Woodrow Wilson's 1916 re-election campaign's summer headquarters were in Asbury Park.

Hospital. In the first years of the 20th century some resident doctors from Asbury Park would create what would eventually become Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
