If you have allergies and you live at the Jersey Shore, this spring has been a rough one to say the least, and it's not getting better anytime soon.

The cold winter, the late blooming trees and flowers and other things have been blamed for our allergy troubles. Whatever the reason, there is no relief in our immediate future.

According to pollen.com, our forecast does not look good for allergy sufferers over the weekend and beyond. Levels are expected to be between medium and high over the next five days, with the worst of it happening Monday, when the levels are considered "high".

According to the website the difference between "medium-high" and "high" is that during medium-high levels many allergy sufferers could be affected while high levels will affect most allergy sufferers.

Those counting the minutes to the end of allergy season to end should root for increased humidity and rain, both of which decrease pollen levels.
