Attempted Home Invasion in Howell – Police Need Your Help

The Howell Township Police are investigating an attempted home invasion in Howell.

The residence is on Michele Blvd on the Howell/Lakewood border.

According to the Howell Police, this vehicle was observed thanks to home surveillance video in front of the homeowner’s residence after she arrived home from the grocery store on Thursday. The homeowner parked her vehicle in the garage and began to unload groceries with the garage door still open. The homeowner’s dog exited the house and appeared to detect that someone else was in the area of the garage. It's now known that is is the suspect seen in this photo.

The video shows him looking into the open garage without the knowledge of the resident.

The homeowner then witnessed the suspect fleeing the area in a black Honda Odyssey minivan. The subject was dressed in all black including a mask covering his face.
