Actress Bella Thorne came out as bisexual today (August 23) via Twitter, and she has since thanked her fans for the overwhelming amount of support they've given her.

Thorne responded to a fan who asked her, “are you bisexual?” with a succinct, “Yes.”

Thorne then followed her admission up with another tweet, thanking her followers -- who have flooded Thorne's replies with messages of support -- for being so accepting.

“Aww thank you for all the accepting tweets from everyone,” she wrote. “I love you guys #pride."

Fellow actress Ariel Winter also offered the former Shake It Up actress a public show of solidarity by retweeting Thorne's admission.

Fans first began speculating about Thorne’s sexuality earlier this month, after a photo of the Duff actress kissing another woman began circulating online, according to E! News.

The news comes several days after 18-year-old Thorne and her 24-year-old boyfriend Gregg Sulkin called it quits after dating for over a year.

"After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” the couple said in a joint statement via PEOPLE. "We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together. Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best."
