Belmar Restaurant Tour 2016 This Weekend

The foodie fun continues at the Jersey Shore with another great annual event!

The 8th annual Belmar Restaurant Tour will take place this Sunday, March 13, 2016.

From 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., you'll be able to walk around to all of the amazing participating restaurants and sample some of their dishes.

More than 30 eateries are participating, ranging from coffee and sweet shops to bars, pizza joints, and fine dining restaurants.

Tickets for the event are $30, and can be purchased in advance by clicking HERE, or in person at Brandl., Mr. Shrimp, 10th Ave. Burrito, and Simply Southern in Belmar.

On the day of the event, tickets can only be purchased at Brandl., in the Belmar Plaza, and will be $35.

The tour requires a smidge of patience and planning, and definitely comfortable shoes! You will occasionally have a to wait in a decent line to get a small sampling of food, but it can be a lot of fun if you bring friends and enjoy the experience for what it is.

I discovered several new yummy Belmar restaurants after visiting them during this event!

Pro tip: Don't forget that we change the clocks this weekend. You want to show up on time for this to fit in as many restaurants as you can...and also avoid as much of the rush as possible!
