Best In Show: The Buffalo Chicken Meatball from Brick House in Neptune (SO FABULOUS!!!)

People's Choice Award (every guest at the event votes on this): The Smoked Beef Brisket with Jalapeno Cheddar Center from Jersey Shore BBQ in Belmar

Best Traditional Italian Meatball: Jimmy's Cucina in Brielle (I LOVED THIS!!!)

-- First Runner Up: Tulipano's in Belmar

-- Second Runner Up: Esposito's in Manasquan (I LOVED THIS TOO!!!)

-- Honorable Mention: Dominick's Pizzeria in Wall

Best Non-Meat: The Gluten Free Quinoa Meatball from Fratello's in Sea Girt (THIS WAS AMAZING!!!)

Most Innovative: The Jamaican Jerk Meatball from Hinck Turkey Farm in Manasquan/Wall

Best Stuffed: The Inside Out Meatball Parm Meatball from Spring Meadow Inn in Wall

Best Dessert Ball: The Chocolate Mousse Dessert Ball from Ponte Vecchio in Old Bridge

Most Creative: The Sweet-ish Chai Tease Cinnamon Ball from Sweet Tease in Belmar

And two more of my PERSONAL FAVORITES well worth mentioning:

The Drunken Pork Meatball (served with awesome cornbread) from Brick House in Neptune, and

The Pistachio Chocolate Ricotta Cheesecake Ball from Esposito's in Manasquan. I could NOT stop eating these!)
