It's almost here...the day when (almost) all Americans come together to eat copious amounts of junk food and complain about having to go to work the next day.

Super Bowl Sunday. So where to go to watch it?

I've been invited to a few parties, and I've had a couple friends ask if I'm heading out to a bar to watch the game...

And I don't really want to do either.

I like parties, and I like being social...but when it comes to the Super Bowl, I'm a weirdo.

I don't really watch NFL football, and aside from a couple of...financial bonuses...I don't really care who wins. I will be watching for the commercials and the halftime show.

You know when everyone at Super Bowl parties talks?

During the commercials and the halftime show.

I'm torn between wanting to partake in the buffalo-winged spectacle of it all...and wanting to watch it in the semi-quiet comfort of my own home...where I can flip over to Bravo and watch reruns of The Real Housewives when I get bored. (I know, I'm as embarrassed to write it as you are to read it...)

Do I want to spend the day with my friends and family and boyfriend, doing the 'normal' thing? Kind of.

But I'd kind of rather not have to miss out on the only thing I'm interested in seeing/hearing.

Truth be told, we all know the really good stuff will be all over Facebook and Twitter the second it happens, so it's impossible to really miss anything...so in that case...I guess party with friends it is!

Bring on the pizza and 7-layer dip! I'll be the one with my ear pressed to the speaker to hear Beyonce.
