Police officers hear their share of reasons why drivers say they may have been driving erratically. This one certainly qualifies as one no one will forget.

Ocean Township Police says that at a traffic stop on Deal Rd Wednesday afternoon, the driver of the vehicle told Captain Michael Resetar that his wife was in labor, and EMS was called, but even before they could arrive, the baby girl was born with the assistance of officers Christopher Brady and Alisa Martinez and Judith Brown, a member of the Oakhurst First Aid, according to app.com.

The mom and baby were brought to Monmouth Medical Center.
