The latest weather update for the Jersey Shore features a blizzard, coastal flood and high wind warning for our area.

We are now just hours away from the beginning of the storm and the latest data suggests that this storm could be just about everything we've been concerned about all week long. Here are the latest details from our meteorologist Dan Zarrow regarding conditions for this storm.

Coastal Flood Warning. Coastal flooding is likely with 14 to 20 foot ocean waves and a 3 to 4 foot surge along tidal waterways.

High Wind Warning. Gusts of up to 60mph will cause dangerous wind chills and could cause power outages.

Blizzard Warning. Blizzard conditions include fierce winds, heavy snow and limited visibility.

Accumulations. 12 to 18 inches of snow expected with the possibility of pockets of the area seeing up to 2 feet. Some coastal areas will have a mix of rain at times, limiting the accumulations.

Timing. The peak of the storm is tomorrow (Saturday), pretty much from sunrise to sunset.

That's the latest from Dan Zarrow. Please check in frequently for weather updates and any details about changes in conditions as the storm arrives and works it's way through our area..
