Boardwalk Prep for the Blizzard

Sandbags, snow fences and boarded up shops. Haven't we been through enough?

I have spent the last two days running on the boardwalk...taking advantage of the mild days leading up to the storm.

I look at the beauty of the ocean, the beautiful boardwalk and inlet, the seagulls in the sand, and I imagine the joy of the crowds in summertime.

And then I remember the nightmares of storms past.

And I pray that we get through this one without any damage from flooding, winds, snow, rain, waves, or tide surges.

And let's hope against hope for no power outages, too!
