Just after this past Christmas Eve, Jennifer Felicetti, a Matawan resident and a loving wife and mom learned she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Doctors said her best treatment option is a bone marrow transplant, but no one in her family is a match.

Those who love Jennifer have teamed up with Delete Blood Cancer to host a bone marrow donor registration drive in her honor. The hope is to register as many people as possible, hoping to find a match for Jennifer or other patients in need.

The drive takes place this Saturday April 16th from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the Washington Fire House, which is located at 176 Jackson St. in Matawan. If you can't make it on Saturday, but want to register, you can do that at Peter Conte's Salon April 19th through April 23rd during business hours.

Learn more about Delete Blood Cancer DKMS at their website, and please take a few minutes to register. You may be able to save a life!
