Borrowing a Dog to Walk

My son enjoyed his outing with this wonderful dog, even though he's not ours.

Not all pet lovers are in the position to bring a dog home for keeps....so we were really happy when our neighbors asked if we could walk their dog.

Benj got such joy spending time with Benny and taking him for a walk and run. It was the first time he had ever walked a dog!

What Benj got to experience was the excitement a dog feels when he knows you are going to take him for a walk. And then the sheer joy a dog feels when he is outside running in the wind  and enjoying nature -- things that we so often take for granted.

It made Benj so happy to make that little dog so happy.
