BREAKING: Dragnet spreads for midday bank thief in Toms River
A daring midday bank robbery in Toms River prompts a manhunt by township police, Ocean County investigators and the FBI.
Police said that the suspect in the photo at right entered the Investors Savings branch on Fischer Boulevard at 12:32 PM and passed a note demanding money to a teller. Investigators said he fled with cash, though they didn't specify the amount.
He's described as standing 5'8" to 5'10" in height. He was clad in jeans, black sneakers, a full-sleeve, dark-colored crew-neck sweatshirt over a white tee shirt, and a baseball cap with a yellow brim and white lettering.
