The Medical Marijuana Dispensary Could Be Coming To Ocean County

A meeting was held yesterday evening deciding whether or not to turn the former bank on Adamston Road into a medical marijuana dispensary.

There are currently six operating marijuana dispensaries in New Jersey but if the application is approved, this would be the first dispensary in Monmouth or Ocean County.

Those who live close to the area in question have voiced their opposition towards the decision and have asked that a dispensary be built in a commercial location so it can be surrounded by other businesses as opposed to resident's homes.
