A lengthy probe into alleged drug dealing leads to the arrest of five men from Brick and a Jackson resident along with a minor.

Brick Police collared all seven around 8:30 pm on January 31 after getting search warrants to homes on Sawmill Road and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Harold J. Wood, 20, of Jackson, Marquise B. Harris, 23, of Brick, Eric W. Tampuu Jr., 18, of Brick, Michael R. Morgan, 20, of Brick, Richard J. Burgan, 18, of Brick and James J. Jenkins, 20, of Brick were all charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Harris, Tampuu, Burgan and Jenkins were transported to Ocean County Jail on warrants while Wood and Morgan were released on summonses.

The Brick Township Special Emergency Response Team executed the warrants following the investigation involving the distribution of narcotics run by the Brick Township Drug Enforcement Unit after several township residents contacted the police.
