Multiple electronic devices were seized by law enforcement in Burlington County who arrested a Maple Shade man for possessing child porn.

Burlington County Prosecutors and Maple Shade Police found 33-year old Jonathan Conklin, a self-employed painter, with a digital image of a man having sex with a pre-pubescent girl on an electronic device.

The Prosecutors Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received intelligence of the lewd activity Conklin allegedly partook in and that sent them along with the Maple Shade Police Department, the New Jersey State Police, and the United States Immigrations and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations team on a search warrant to the Maple Shade residence.

Conklin who was arrested on Friday is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a third degree offense.

His case will be presented to a Burlington County Grand Jury to be considered for indictment.

Assistant Prosecutor Stephen Eife, supervisor of the BCPO Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Unit, will prosecute the case.

The investigation was conducted by the BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit, which is a member of the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the New Jersey State Police Cyber Terrorism Task Force.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
