Emma Mae is now home recuperating after being the victim of a hit and run last month when she was riding her bike, and her friends and neighbors are still doing all they can to help this sweet girl. So come out to this car wash!

"Friends of Emma" was created by Laura and Antoinette (two of Emma's friends) and they are holding a fundraising car wash to raise money toward helping Emma with the astronomical expenses and the challenging road she has ahead of her to heal after being hit by a car.

Her journey thus far has been nothing short of miraculous, but the trauma to her head was severe and that's not an easy or quick road to recover from.

The Car Wash will take place this Sunday, Sept. 16th, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Sabosik parking lot on Bridge Ave. in Point Pleasant. It's the parking lot next to Butler's Pharmacy...diagonal to Hickory Hog BBQ and Gerard's liquor store.

There are posters all over town and over 20 kids will be helping out, including Boy Scout Troupe 3.
