Casino Pier Announces Its First New Ride of 2014 – Air Race [VIDEO]

Casino Pier in Seaside Heights is set to open April 12th. Before you know it we'll be hittin' the boards again and getting ready for another big Jersey Shore summer. Casino Pier has already announced the first of many new 2014 attractions, and this one is said to simulate "aerobatic airplane flight."

Air Race will be at the lower deck of the pier and will take riders on an amazing journey, replicating the experiences and sensations of an acrobatic airplane flight, with banks, loops, dives and weightlessness that will test even the most experienced thrill seekers.

The experience takes place up to 25 feet above the ground and riders experience accelerations of almost 3G, right side up and upside down.

In addition to the amazing “flying” experience, the visual impact of the Air Race is something not to be missed.  The sight will draw attention to the ride from everywhere along the beach and boardwalk.  The impressive size of the whole structure is sure to attract those wishing to test their nerves as well as those simply mesmerized by the speed and movement of the attraction.
