Will you have your young child get vaccinated?

Last week I went to a huge comedy event at Madison Square Garden, New York City Still Rising After 20 Years. It took place just a day after September 11th's 20 year anniversary. It was hosted by Jersey favorite and massive 9/11 fund advocate Jon Stewart and one of my personal favorite comedians Pete Davidson. For those that don't know, Pete's Dad was a firefighter and was killed on 9/11. When I heard they were throwing this event, I was all in even before I knew the laundry list of comedian royalty joining them...but now I'm worried for all my favorite comedians...they better get tested for COVID NOW.

This was a weekend we were warned about. In fact, I was planning to take my girls swimming but decided not to because the warnings really ramped up. The rip currents became deadly and rescue teams could not keep up.

Many of us were just taken by surprise to hear that legendary comedian, Norm Macdonald has passed away. Like many of us, I did not even know he was ill. He was suffering through a very private cancer battle. Most of us did not know he had cancer for two very heartwarming reasons.

Ew. eW. EW. ew.

The mega sites are gearing up again...today Gov. Phil Murphy said New Jersey is ramping up for the expected federal guidance on a third COVID-19 vaccine dose. Since we have a little experience in all this experts feel we will have them up and running almost immediately. Will you be getting shot 3?

I love it when someone has a vision and takes action to go after their dream! This local Asbury Park entrepreneur is no exception. Look out Frank's because we already want to put this all natural hot sauce on EVERYTHING!

I woke up to my 16 year old daughter, Bella, say "Mom, something is wrong with me, I have hives all over my body." I thought surely she is exaggerating, she's a teenager, drama is what they do. So, I wiped the sleep out of my eyes to see that she is actually underestimating the situation. There was a red, lumpy, raised rash that small but was literally crawling up her body, eventually working it's way up to her eyelids.

Ida created so much heartbreak and destruction and if you're one of those people, I'm so deeply sorry. In New Jersey, we're licking our wounds and as the adrenaline wears off, we're just wondering where to get help to build it all back and try to prevent it again. Here is where you should turn for help right now...

You think you can do it don't you? Admit it...you thought just for a second, "my balance is pretty good" or "I bet I could go a bit faster than that guy and make it" NO, you can't and the reason is science. Don't be mad, I have to tell you like it is because friends save each other from stupid S*!t.

Does this mean our days of "waiting out" a storm are over?
