It's nothing short of one of the greatest summer traditions for many families who visit Manasquan beach summer after summer. We are sad that Gee Gee's was so badly damaged by the hurricane, It WILL be back...but more than likely not in time for this summer.
If you're looking for some good family fun on this rather warm spring weekend (looks like no rain is in the forcast 'til Sunday afternoon), check out some of the events taking place in the Monmouth/Ocean County area.
Rather than the traditional beach popularity poll, which was changed this year due to the hurricane, several hundred photo entries were narrowed down to 24 and now you can vote for the final 12 that will be included in a limited edition calendar.
I heard the phrase, "men are dogs" the other day, and it dawned on me that that is the most inaccurate phrase out there. The problem isn't that men are dogs, it's that they aren't.
You know the old rule, never loan money to a friend. I'm not sure that's always true, at least not here at the Jersey Shore.
The date should be confirmed soon, but Belmar is so far looking at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held on May 22nd.
Lou and I will be at the Monmouth County SPCA Fur Ball and we'd love it if you would join us for this event...where adults eat a fancy dinner...and then go PLAY at iPlay America!
I believe that, deep down, every woman has something they'd love to change about their man. Maybe many things, but certainly at least one thing.
Our Point Pets of the Week are some adorable kittens from the Monmouth County SPCA.
This is a story about puppy love, literally. When Ben got adopted from the Humane Society in Indiana, no one realized he was being taken away from the love of his life and the mother of his puppies, Jade. She was still at the shelter.
